How much does it cost to participate?

The amount that is to be paid to the QC Study Abroad Office is $1,462. This does not include tuition to your home institution, your flights and your meals. The breakdown of the cost is found HERE.

Is there financial aid available?

Financial aid is offered to Queens College students, and you do not need to submit a separate application for it. The fund is limited, so it is recommended that you register early to receive the aid! Even if you are not a QC student, perhaps there’s funding available from your own institution. So I suggest you talk to your own department and ask about the possibility.

Do I get credits for taking this class?

Yes, the course is worth 3 credits. The course number is MUS008 for undergraduates and MUS713 for graduates.

Where will we be staying? Do we have to share a room with another student?

We will be staying at a hotel. The accommodation included in the program cost is for a shared room. (You will be rooming with one another student). But for about $8 extra, you can have your own room if you wish.

Will we be traveling as a group to and from Bali?

You are not required to travel as a group. But if you wish to do so, you can take the flight that will be suggested by the program and travel with other students.
